RALEIGH, N.C. (Jan. 27, 2014) —The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has cancelled this week’s Wildlife Commission committee and business meetings, in anticipation of inclement weather.

Wildlife Commissioners had been scheduled to meet as a board on Thursday, with committee and business meetings scheduled for Wednesday. Review of weather forecasts and concern for safety led to the decision.

Wildlife Commissioners are representatives from across the state who help create and maintain laws and regulations governing conservation, hunting, fishing and boating activities in North Carolina. Members serve until reappointed or replaced.

The next commissioners’ meeting is scheduled for Feb. 27, with committee meetings to be held the day prior. To see the Wildlife Commissioners’ meeting schedule, go to http://www.ncwildlife.org/Portals/0/About/documents/2014%20cm%20sch.pdf
