HOLLY RIDGE, N.C. (Nov. 5, 2018) — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has scheduled a meeting to present information to the public about the planned management activities on Holly Shelter and Stones Creek game lands that will occur over the next several years. The meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Holly Ridge Community Center located at 655 Sound Rd. in Holly Ridge. An informational presentation will be followed by an open Q&A session with Commission staff. Topics will include the Red-cockaded Woodpecker Recovery and Sustainment Program (RASP), habitat management, timber sales and reforestation practices.
