Commission Schedules Public Meeting About Jordan Game Land

Raleigh, N.C. (April 19, 2010) – The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will hold a public meeting to hear comments on a proposal to convert 86 acres of Jordan Game Land to archery-only hunting in the vicinity of the new Chatham County Northeast District Park, planned for construction off of Big Woods Road near Jordan Lake. 

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 2 in Building 2, Multipurpose Room of Central Carolina Community College, located at 764 West Street in Pittsboro (approximately 1 mile west of the traffic circle on U.S. 64 Business West).
