KENANSVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 14, 2020) — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will conduct a public hearing in Kenansville on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. to accept comments on proposed changes to agency regulations related to wildlife management, inland fisheries and game lands for the 2020-2021 seasons. The public hearing will be held at the Duplin County Agricultural Center at 165 Agriculture Dr. in Kenansville. The comment period for the proposed regulations will run through Jan. 31, 2020. After collecting and considering all public comments, the Commission will discuss and vote on proposed changes at their February business meeting. Approved proposals will take effect Aug. 1, 2020.
