RALEIGH, N.C. (March 31, 2015) — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is conducting two prescribed burns today on the following game land:
WHERE: Two locations:
· Sandhills Game Land in Richmond County (658 acre block – see map to right, area in red outline)
· R. Wayne Bailey-Caswell Game Land in Caswell County
WHAT: Prescribed burn to reduce pine litter and undesired vegetation, and to stimulate growth of native vegetation to benefit wildlife.
