RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 12, 2019) — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has extended the online comment period for the Dan River Game Land management plan to Jan. 1, 2020. Comments and suggestions for the plan can be submitted online at ncwildlife.org/gamelandcomments. Comments can also be e-mailed, with “Dan River Game Land” in the subject line, to gamelandplan@ncwildlife.org. Commission staff will use public input to help guide management and user activities on Dan River Game Land for the next 10 years. The game land, which encompasses 1,760 acres, is located four miles southwest of Eden on the Dan River.
